The Pure Water Project is about bringing water to communities in need, ensuring water purity, promoting water security, and conserving water, especially through rainwater harvesting.

The mission of The Pure Water Project are to:

  • Bring water where it is not, where there is severe shortage,
  • Ensure water purity,
  • Promote water security, and
  • Conserve water, especially through rainwater harvesting.

The method for implementing the goals of The Pure Water Project is to work with local communities and Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the developing world with governance, funding, infrastructure assistance and technical expertise in either establishing bore wells or catchment reservoirs, building water tanks and laying pipes underground to distribute water directly to households. In addition, it seeks to bring technical expertise in watershed management where appropriate, as well as environmental conservation and sustainability practices.
